Vivek Pawale has been with Parameter Climate (PC) since its foundation in November 2021, as Co-Head of Structuring and Analytics. Vivek is responsible for leading and implementing the development of PC’s proprietary analytics platform, ClimateDelta, as well as the modeling and pricing of weather and quanto transactions. Prior to PC, Vivek spent over 20 years as a data scientist, stochastic modeler, portfolio manager and technology developer in the parametric weather market. He began his career developing stochastic hurricane models at AIR, which are currently in use across insurance and reinsurance industries.

Vivek received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandeis University, and a Master’s in Mathematics from IIT, Bombay. He is based in PC’s New York City office and currently resides in New Jersey.
