Ling Yuan has been with Parameter Climate (PC) since its foundation in November 2021, as Co-Head of Structuring and Analytics. Ling is responsible for developing PC’s pricing and portfolio management models and implementing them into PC’s proprietary analytics platform, ClimateDelta. Prior to PC, Ling worked at Sompo Global Weather in Structuring, Analytics and Portfolio Management. Ling’s other experience includes 14 years working in the Front Office Quant Group of Constellation Energy developing trading strategies across structured physical and financial power and gas deals.

Ling received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He is based in Boston where he currently resides with his family.
